JOB DESCRIPTION
WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ARTIST RELATIONS FREELANCER.
Melosy is a music and technology company aiming to make both listening and licensing music simple for all content creators. As we are dedicated fans of music as well, we strive to provide the best experience and be a trusted partner in your creative endeavours.
Key Responsibilities
Finding, building and developing relationships with music artists including singers, composers, producers, etc.
Utilize early indications of data and digital platform traction to spot rising artists.
Observe, follow and predict the trends in the local music industry, and work closely with the other teams for amplification.
Handle production budgets and identify relevant business affairs issues.
Track and analyze individual and overall artist growth to ensure artist engagement, retention and satisfaction.
Set up and optimize working tools/platforms to auto-operate Melosy artists network system.
Keep updated the new strategies and other key information of Melosy to artists.
Working closely with Music Director to build Melosy music brand.
Requirements
1+ years of experience with label and artist relations in an established digital music service, record label, or at a media company.
Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a "get it done" attitude
Radical integrity, shared responsibility and aims for excellence.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Have strong network connections with music artists.
Deep understanding or insights of Vietnamese music market, Vietnamese artists and music networks.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are important
Have basic knowledge and sensitivity of industry trends to be able to participate in the building and development of content strategy recommendations.
Having a good music taste.
Fluent in Vietnamese & English.
