Mô tả công việc
Providing customer care around the various sections of the hostel including but not limited to the Sunset Bar, Noodle Bar and Reception
Deliver efficient and friendly service to all guests
Taking customers' orders and serve food and beverages
Taking payments by cash or card following the cash handling procedure
Prepare the necessary set up box for serving customers
Ensure dining area is setup, checking all furniture and reporting any issues to management
Maintain the desired atmosphere in the hostel
Organize and execute activities and special events in the bar
Promoting the sale of tours, bus services and rental services
Maintain the safety of guests and staff, reporting any irregularities
Go above and beyond all guest's expectations to provide the highest level of customer care
Follow the health and safety food guidelines and procedures
Provide information and help guests with any inquiries or concerns
Communicate effectively with Assistant and General Manager
Cooperate with the kitchen team to provide any assistance as necessary for basic food prep
Keep the dining areas clean and tidy, also checking the toilets (ensuring well stocked with toilet paper and hand soap and clean) and communicate any cleaning to the housekeeping team as necessary
Carry out any other tasks as directed by team leader or management to enable the smooth operation of the hostel (for example taking guests to their rooms or bus departures)

Yêu cầu công việc
A high school diploma or equivalent;
Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, actively look for ways to help people, and adjust actions concerning others' actions;
Good command in spoken and written English;
Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in both restaurant and/or bar roles is highly regarded;
Strong communication skills with a passion for customer care;
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
Enthusiastic and outgoing personality, with a genuine interest in meeting new people from diverse backgrounds;
Flexibility to work late nights, early mornings, weekends as needed
Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, actively look for ways to help people, and adjust actions concerning others' actions;
Good command in spoken and written English;
