  • This position belongs to New Product Development team that create innovative food products for company. You will work along with food technologists to develop new food concepts. You need to have good knowledge of Western foods and understand well about Asian cooking.
  • Formulating new recipes and improving existing ones based on project plan and company's request.
  • Recommending new products and working with new product development staff to transform food concepts into actual food products.
  • Liaising with colleagues in the commercial, production and technical departments
  • Working with wholesale suppliers to find good raw materials for developing food products.
  • Conducting tasting panels proposed new products.
  • Presenting new products to management.
  • Have basic understanding of mass production techniques and machinery as well as qualities and shelf-life of different ingredients, costings and technical issues.
  • Continuously researching food trend and understanding customer eating behaviours.
  • Be able to work in team with other food technologists.
  • Open minded to feedbacks, new concepts, improve recipes when being requested.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • Having minimum 3 years experience of cooking meats in restaurants or food companies.
  • Having experience as food development chef for food companies is advantage.
  • Having related certificates or degrees.
  • Having a creative mind and the ability and passion to develop innovative products for company.
  • Good in communication. Be able to explain food concepts and ideas.
  • Can keep track with project schedule.
  • Be able to travel often to different locations.
