- Receive, verify, and maintain accurate import/export information from related departments, including goods details, POs, item codes, and specifications.
- Coordinate with logistics service providers for customs declaration; check and confirm all import/export shipping documents.
- Manage and confirm bookings with forwarders; monitor export shipments until goods are loaded on board.
- Track
purchasing and import status to ensure alignment with production schedules.
- Set production norms, manage BOM data, and handle certificates of origin (C/O) for shipments.
- Verify and confirm payment notices from forwarders, customs authorities, and courier companies; handle contract preparation and payments with international suppliers.
- Maintain import/export documentation systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal departments and service providers to resolve arising issues and support monthly/annual reports.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- College/University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in import-export and purchasing in manufacturing companies.
- Good knowledge of international purchasing, customs procedures, and ECUS software.
- Solid understanding of import-export tax policies for export processing enterprises.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and professional email writing.
- Intermediate English reading skills for work-related documents and emails.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Priority given to candidates with Korean language skills.
