1. ABOUT PURPLEASIA:
PurpleAsia, founded in 2002 by Matt Millard, is a leading branding and communications agency based in Ho Chi Minh City. Specializing in brand strategy, identity, and communications across various sectors such as hospitality, real estate, and luxury retail, PurpleAsia is dedicated to delivering transformative and innovative solutions to its clients.
2. POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Client Services Director, you will lead PurpleAsia's client service team, ensuring the highest standards of client engagement and project management are maintained. This senior leadership role involves overseeing the Client Service Manager, Client Service Executive, and Client Service Researcher, ensuring that each team member excels in their respective areas of responsibility. You will be the driving force behind the team, setting strategic goals, and fostering a culture of excellence and client satisfaction.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership: Oversee the client service team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Ensure that all team members are aligned with the agency's strategic objectives and client service standards.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Be the senior point of contact for major client interactions, ensuring that PurpleAsia delivers on its promises and exceeds client expectations.
Strategic Direction: Set the strategic direction for the client service team, aligning with PurpleAsia's overall business goals. Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Project Oversight: Ensure seamless management and execution of client projects from inception through to delivery. Oversee the preparation of pitches and proposals, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews. Identify training needs and opportunities for team development.
Business Development: Drive new business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and leading the team in pitch development and presentation.
Operational Excellence: Collaborate with other department heads to enhance interdepartmental cooperation and efficiency. Ensure that client service processes are robust and that the team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources.
4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience in client service leadership within the branding, marketing, or communications sectors.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of project management principles and experience in managing large-scale projects.
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
