Job Overview
Position Summary
The Communications and Marketing Intern is a member of the GPA Vietnam team responsible for assisting the leadership in developing successful marketing strategies and growing our business in Vietnam. To succeed in this role, the Communications and Marketing Trainee should demonstrate a high level of analytical thinking and initiative taking. He/she should also possess strong writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Finally, as a member of GPA Vietnam, the Communications and Marketing Trainee is expected to exercise sound judgment and maintain GPAʼs ethical standards in all professional and business-related situations.
Duties and Responsibilities (based on a 20-hour work week)
The Communications and Marketing Internʼs responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
1. Administration (20%)
• Assist GPAʼs leadership in strategic and operational matters
• Collecting market data and conducting product research and development
• Translating documents and build content for the Golden Path Guide
• Handling other administrative tasks such as client intake, preparing contracts, invoicing and collecting payments, sending mail, drafting letters, etc.
2. Outreach and Marketing (80%)
• Develop and translate promotional materials for GPA Vietnam
• Design and implement marketing activities for GPA Vietnam
• Assist the management in developing partnerships with high schools and universities
• Assist the management in setting up and deliver information sessions at high schools and universities
• Participate in higher education fairs and other recruitment events
• Help to implement a GPA alumni outreach strategy
• Participate in media and PR activities on behalf of GPA Vietnam

Hours and Location
Job location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Hours: 4 hours in the morning, 5 days a week
Salary and Benefits
The Communications and Marketing Intern, will be paid on a monthly basis at the fixed rate of VND 1,500,000. On your three-month anniversary, we will conduct a performance review, which may include a salary adjustment should your performance meets our expectations.
