JOB DESCRIPTION:

Designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Collaborating with programmers, and other project management team members to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Coordinate research operations for syndicated and proprietary studies. Responsibilities include but not limited to project management, data checking/cleaning/preparation, analysis, and report writing.
Present findings to executives and clients through charts, graphs, and other visual means to help them make better-informed decisions about product introductions, modifications, and marketing campaigns.
Oversee internal and external vendor activities including data collection, data processing and web reporting tools.
Manage day-to-day project-related inquiries, ensuring timely response and insight.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask when working towards deadlines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree (typical study areas include marketing, market research, business, statistics, psychology, or social sciences)
1-3 years of working experience
Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and enjoy data analysis. Ability to independently conduct in-depth data analysis AND use the data to develop strong, persuasive telling stories.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, R or Python-Statistical Programming, etc), visualization tools (Power Point, Power BI, Tableau, etc)
Strong in interpreting data, presenting and reporting
