Job Description
We're hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing
1. Strategic Planning & Leadership
Provide professional advisory and executive support to the General Manager in achieving strategic goals.
Develop and implement policies for the department and resort.
Plan and execute marketing strategies, promotions, and sales initiatives.
Manage departmental changes, ensuring necessary processes and infrastructure are in place.
2. Sales & Marketing Management
Oversee the development and implementation of the resort's Sales & Marketing plans.
Conduct market research to establish pricing strategies and sales targets.
Work closely with the Director of Wellness to implement retreat programs and marketing plans.
Build strong relationships with local and international tour operators, airlines, and destination management companies.
Collaborate with the corporate sales office to ensure smooth execution of all Sales & Marketing initiatives.
Participate in trade shows, expos, and MICE conferences to expand market presence.
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market performance to adjust strategies accordingly.
3. Client & Partner Engagement
Maintain strong ties with local tourism authorities and key industry partners.
Promote the resort's loyalty programs and participate in travel partner initiatives.
Host business entertainment events, including luncheons, dinners, and cocktails, to strengthen client relationships.
Organize site inspections and attend networking events with key accounts.
4. Performance & Reporting
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Sales & Marketing programs.
Prepare monthly reports on sales activities, market analysis, revenue performance, and business development.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date account profiles and sales reports.
Work with the Revenue Manager to optimize rate plans and pricing strategies.
5. Operational Excellence
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and property standards.
Conduct regular sales calls and develop a structured weekly sales plan.
Train and motivate the sales team to enhance productivity and service quality.
Support administrative tasks and provide insights on new projects and upcoming promotions.
6. Additional Responsibilities
Represent the resort in corporate and industry events.
Assist the Director of Sales in preparing strategic reports and marketing plans.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or Board of Directors.
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the resort's image.
Requirement
Age: 30 - 45 years old
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficient in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational, management, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in computer use
Ability to work under pressure.
