Akila is an Asia-based startup determined to bring on a revolution in the built environment. Our founding team brings high-level tech and business experience from companies including Dassault Systemes, Siemens, Accenture and Saint-Gobain.
We come from energy, engineering, construction, PropTech, facility management, robotics and more. But wherever we come from, we are all going in the same direction: net-zero carbon and a market that puts impact and human-centricity at the center.
We launched in 2021. Since then, we've been moving fast and making sure that we don't waste a single day. Because the fight we are in is a fight that no one on earth can afford to lose.
Where we come from: Akila was incubated by Aden Group, a leading facility-management company with 26,000 employees and a 25-country presence. Founded in 1997, Aden Group's divisions and joint ventures also include private equity, energy, environmental services and robotics and the group operates in partnership with Total-Eren, Suez, Groupe Monnoyeur and other international companies.
