Executive - Logistic

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Logistics Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, from procurement through warehousing to final delivery. This role involves close coordination with suppliers, internal departments, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and inventory accuracy while optimizing logistics operations.
1. Logistics & Shipping Operations
▪ Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments (sea, air, land).
▪ Work closely with freight forwarders and courier services to ensure timely delivery.
▪ Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoices, packing list, BL, customs declarations, etc.).
▪ Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
2. Inventory and Warehouse Support
▪ Support warehouse team in coordinating dispatch, receiving, and stock control.
▪ Assist in inventory planning, stock movement, and warehouse documentation.
▪ Co-ordinate with warehouse team to perform regular stock checks and reconcile variances.
▪ Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records in SAP or WMS systems.
3. Supplier and Customer Coordination
▪ Liaise with vendors to arrange pickups and ensure documentation is complete.
▪ Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to meet delivery requirements.
▪ Communicate with customers regarding shipping schedules, delays, or updates.
4. Compliance & Documentation
▪ Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs laws.
▪ Maintain accurate records for audits and internal controls.
▪ Prepare reports related to logistics performance, freight costs, and delivery timelines.
5. Cost and Process Optimization
▪ Identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation and warehousing.
▪ Assist in evaluating and negotiating freight rates and contracts.
▪ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
