Finance & Accounting Manager

1. Job Purpose :
Oversee all Accounting functions to drive quality output and ensure the financial statements comply with accounting principles, Group policies and local regulations. Responsible for monthly reporting & budgeting, cash management as well as business analysis.
2. Key Responsibilities - Finance & Accounting Manager :
2.1 Establish and maintain financial system, financial records and control, tax planning and counseling to support business:
- Manage and oversee finance and accounting functions
- Ensure adequate accounting records are in proper control as required by Local Tax Legislation, VAS and Group Office
- Supervise closing activities and ensure regular financial reports are accurately generated on a timely basis
- Timely and accurately reporting submission
- Monthly review of Trial Balance, Reconciliation and key reports
- Oversee taxation and related tax planning activity to maximize tax benefit and avoid possible tax exposure risk
- Prepare statutory report and coordinate with Auditor
- Handle insurance and Legal matter
2.2. Establish and maintain financial analysis and profit planning activities:
- Preparation and timely submission of forecast and budgeting
- Work with stakeholders on forecasting and budgeting activities
- Perform business analysis and prepare feasibility study
- Provide management timely business performance update, advise actions, drive KPI & EBIT delivery
- Regularly review investment proposal and highlight potential opportunities and risks to management
2.3 Cash management:
- Monitor cash flow and payment
- Manage working capital
- Liaison with bankers and Payment service providers
2.4 Financial Control & Others:
- Ensure Financal process and activities comply with Group Policies and standard
- Ensure adequate internal controls in place
- Recommend process improvement
- Ensure compliance with Non-Trade procurement activities
- Ensure Financal process and activities comply with Group Policies and standard
2.5 Team management:
- Train & develop Finance staffs to effectively perform Accounting activities, reporting and analysis.
- Build team spirit
- Play significant role as finance team leader to drive improvement in Finance & Account Department
3. Qualifications:
• University graduated, major in Accounting / Finance
• Experience multinational environment, preferably in retail / FMCG industry.....
• Prefer to have Chief Accountant Certificate
• Previous Experience in leading a Finance team as well as communication with HQ is preferred
• Knowledge of Vietnamese financial and accounting law including tax legislation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
• Good communication skills. Fluent English skills (both written and verbal)
