Frontend Engineer - Open to remote work

As a Frontend Software Engineer at Axon, you involve in multiple activities to extend our product capabilities as well as solidify it for new customers. You also take the lead in our new initiatives that leverage technologies to make safer life for millions of people around the world.
Your Day-to-Day

• Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Mentoring engineers
• Develop new user-facing features
• Working across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions that delight our customers
• Improve our Engineering process, including long-term thinking, sprint planning and stand-ups
• Building services that adhere to our high bar on availability and latency in this mission-critical space
• Working with the latest open source technologies

Basic Qualifications

• Good computer science backgrounds (programming, data structure, algorithm)
• 4+ years of experience in designing, developing and operating front-end web application
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of Javascript
• Clear communication in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a ReactJS developer

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• You are passionate about quality design, code, tools and architectures

• You influence your peers, advise senior leaders, coach and mentor junior team members
• You facilitate cross-team collaboration among engineers and contribute to the broader community of senior engineers
