Renesas has transformed its IT infrastructure operations into a global team structure. Endpoint management tools and techniques continue to be expanded to all devices throughout the company. This expansion drives the team's goals to improve productivity, enhance security, and reduce the total cost of ownership of PC management by following standards based processes that are executed by a highly efficient global endpoint management team.
【Job Responsibilities】
As a global endpoint computing manager, the candidate should have a minimum experience of 10 years managing an enterprise PC environment and a minimum of 5 years managing an endpoint management team. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a technical background to delivery outstanding customer service and PC management solutions that are secure, cost efficient, and empowers our employees. He or she must be able to coordinate disparate drivers, cultures, and different regional priorities, while maintaining objectivity and a strong focus on optimizing endpoint management.
• Lead the daily operations of a global team responsible for managing all aspects of an enterprise endpoint environment, including PC management infrastructure, OS image design and deployment, OS and application patching and upgrading, application deployment, configuration standardization, PC security, and inventory management
• Determines priorities for personnel to meet operational and project goals. Monitor workload, managing staff performance and development and reporting on key metrics.
• Identify and drive strategic and tactical initiatives to ensure highly dependable, secure, and productive PC services that meet business objectives at the best value and total cost of ownership.
• Deployment, promote, and manage an Endpoint Management Services roadmap. Facilitate continual system improvements and optimization.
• Manage and oversee PC management projects, delivering quality services on-time, on-target, and within budget. Project management will include solution design, development and maintenance of project schedules and communication of status updates on project milestones.
• Leads resources and team to determine root cause issues, make recommendations on remediation and provide regular status updates. Also, will act as technical and process escalation to the team.
• Documents and manages standard operating procedures for PC management operations, change management and evaluation, release and deployment management, asset and configuration management, and service validation.
• Align team goals to support the Client Services Support team's goals to deliver new PCs, software, security solutions, configurations, and continuous improvement and support.
• Mentor and provide professional development of team members, facilitating a success driven environment based on ownership, team work, and execution while continually aligning with business vision, goals, objectives, strategies and executing tactically.
• Be available as needed for time sensitive escalations, planned changes, meetings, or other leadership work requirements outside of typical business hours.
• Occasional project-based travel.
【Required Skills and Work Experience】
• Multilingual with Japanese and English written and verbal skills required.
• Must be able to work effectively with peers in a team-oriented environment, lead PC management related projects and take ownership of problem resolution as required.
• 5+ years management experience leading large, globally dispersed teams of varying skills.
• 5+ years with technical leadership of Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager) in an environment with multiple locations, and multiple primary and secondary sites.
• 3+ years of experience leading operating system deployment and management, and software distribution and management tools - Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Manager) Operating System Deployment (OSD) Task Sequences, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, Endpoint Manager/Intune, Bitlocker, Powershell, PSAppDeployToolkit
• Experience with productivity tool configuration management, (including Office ProPlus, Edge browser), endpoint security products (Defender, McAfee, Crowdstrike) and unified communication tools like Teams
• Must be able to lead in sound troubleshooting methodologies to remediate business application impacting events efficiently.
• Proven project management experience and demonstrated ability to execute and achieve expected results.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPN, load balancing, DHCP, VPN, and PXI Boot.
• Must be able to work effectively with peers in a team-oriented environment, lead PC management related projects and take ownership of problem resolution as required.
• 5+ years management experience leading large, globally dispersed teams of varying skills.
• 5+ years with technical leadership of Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager) in an environment with multiple locations, and multiple primary and secondary sites.

• 15+ years' experience required managing enterprise level Information Technology (IT) systems for multi-site environments overseeing architecture, design, implementation, maintaining and troubleshooting aspects IT services.
• Experience with Windows 10 Enterprise operating system features, settings and installation, and deployment
• Experience with co-management and cloud management of Windows 10 devices using both Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune.
• Experience with ConfigMgr reporting using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and PowerBI
• Experience with Office 365, Azure AD, Azure AD Connector, Conditional Access
• Industry certifications preferred (Microsoft, ITILv4, Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, TOGAF 9, CompTIA Project+)
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with Windows 10 Enterprise operating system features, settings and installation, and deployment
