JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Overview: This position is the main accountant in-charged of the Australian accounting book and tax filings
How will YOU contribute to the Team?
Perform accounting book-keeping tasks in a cloud-based accounting software (Xero), including but not limited to bank reconciliations, AR/AP invoices recording, fixed assets management, monthly accrual entries, intercompany reconciliations
Manage AR collections and process bank payments according to weekly cash planning
Audit Australian team's reimbursement expenses against company policies, compile monthly reports for approval, and manage the online expense platforms such as Expensify, Divipay
Calculate monthly sales revenue and process client invoice issuance in Xero
Work directly with an Australian accounting/tax agency to prepare and submit quarterly BAS reports, super fund contributions, and monthly payroll tax reports
Coordinate with Australian accounting/tax agency to prepare annual financial statements and facilitate the annual external audits of management accounts
Collect and properly file all supporting and legal documents including contracts, invoices, corporate documents
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as requested

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Do YOU have what it takes to succeed?
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Between 1 to 2 years of experience at similar positions
Skilled at using Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
International exposure and mindset are a must-haves
Experienced working for Australian entities is a plus
Excellent level of English writing and speaking skills
Highly comfortable working in a fast-growing environment
