JOB DESCRIPTION
Plan, monitor and adjust staffing in the Contact Centre schedules against actual call
arrival patterns to minimize over or under-staffing situations and in alignment with
agreed financial and service level targets
Prepareregular (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly) summary report and submit to country
management and RO
Buil dadatabase onstaff performance to drive improvement
Analyze service incidents and failures to surface trends in service gaps and process
weaknesses in the
Customer Service Function and/or other interfacing functional departments in the
service delivery process (e.g.Ops, Hub, Gateway, Network, Contractors, etc.) that impact
the achievement of service excellence to customers
Coordinate the deployment of a Mystery Shopper programme to drive Service
Excellence based on independent assessments of service quality and benchmarking
against internal and competitor performance
Liaise with sales and marketing department to obtain advance information on upcoming
marketing campaigns in order to determine call volume estimations
Proficient in the workings of the various forecasting, scheduling and reporting tools and

REQUIREMENTS
2 years experience in a related capacity, preferably with hands-on experience in data or

Experience in the Air Express Industry and Experience in Customer Service (preferable)

Act as Tele Sales customers' main contact for

Build a strong client relationship to ensure that

Manage a portfolio of customers via telephone:
Make telephone calls to existing customers on a regular pre-defined call cycle

Liaise closely with Sales Channels and other
departments within DHL to ensure that a full, cost-effective service is maintained,

Formulate

new business prospects and maximizes growth within the existing client base to

Manage

incumbent has no direct reports and authority over the country line and

Assist in the
maintenance of the duties and tax disbursement records and the reconciliation
of these disbursements to the recorded duty and tax statements
Assist in the
co-ordination activities between the clearance department and DHL
finance/accounts department on matters related to the customs clearance related
disbursements
Customs Classification:
Determine the shipment
value in accordance to the local valuation guidelines provided by the local
authorities
Determine and classify
the shipment commodities in accordance to the national tariff classifications
tables available, and determining the corresponding duty and tax rates, taking
into consideration:
Country of origin for
preferential treatment;
Concessions or
Exemptions applicable to the shipment commodity or importer/exporter; and
Applicable customer
instructions recorded in the Customer Instruction Database Records.
Compute a preliminary assessment on the duty
and taxes payable to the external agencies (including any additional taxes e.g.
countervailing or anti-dumping taxes), and fees or charges payable to DHL
Assign the shipment
records where it is not able to compute a preliminary duty and tax assessment
due to incomplete or inadequate information available on the shipment record
(e.g. shipment commodity descriptions is vague and inadequate for commodity
classification) to the Clearance Support Group for further investigation and
resolution.
Assign the shipment
record when it is determined to contain prohibited or restricted shipments (as
identified from HTS classifications) to Clearance Support for verification and
resolution
In event that the computed preliminary duty
and taxes payable exceeds the DHL approved limits, the CA will assign the
shipment record to Clearance Support to obtain the payment approvals unless
there exists pre-recorded customer approvals to make the excess payments.
Incumbent has no direct
reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless
he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions
through provision of value-added inputs into the organisation's business
processes.
