Reporting of the role
This role reports to Reporting Manager/ Finance Controller

Measures of success -
In three months:
Developed your understanding of GroupM's businesses in the local market.
Understood P&L structures, reporting requirements, WPP accounting policies, commercial requirements.
Learnt the various systems and applications and how they are integrated into the business.
Built relationships with the key stakeholders across the group.
In six months:
Ability to Perform independently all reports requirement with accuracy and on time
Identified key areas and opportunities for improvement and growth, and delivering meaningful financial analysis in support of the Companies strategic planning process
In 12 months:
Being a master in your area of Business analysis/ reporting
Continuously drive improvements in working process, workflow and contribute to the strong growth of GroupM VN Finance team
Responsibilities of the role:
Month End Closing tasks:
Actual PnL consolidation for Total Company and by Agencies (Accrual review/ B&I data retrieval/Trading Billing & Net Sales, etc), in coordination with Commercial team, Chief Accountant/General Accountant and Agencies.
Provide commentaries to regional's queries on variances of Flash/Act vs Rolling Forecast/Budget and last year PF for PnL/ Balance Sheet/ Headcounts/etc.
PnL/ Balance Sheet upload in system (Catersis) and commentaries on fluctuation.
Other related reports (Flash, System Reconciliation & Signed report, HC movements, MODA, Balance Sheet control template, OMI, CSR, Client Profitability, etc).
Budgeting/Quarterly Rolling Forecast cycles:
Prepare excel working files for PnL consolidation of Total Company and by Agencies.
PnL/ Headcounts System Upload, provide Commentaries for variance analysis vs previous versions.
Prepare documents for SOX audits and External audit upon requested.
Other ad-hoc tasks upon Manager's assignments.
What you'll need:
Bachelor of Finance, Accounting, Auditing is preferred.
Experienced in Senior/ General Accountant roles, with knowledge or experience in Media/ Advertising industry will be an added advantage.
Accountable to work multi-tasking and under pressure, handling multiple projects with tight deadlines and overtime in peak reporting time
Eager to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment, active and responsible.
Ability to communicate in English is preferable.
Good at using Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and Power BI is a plus.
