The HR Assistant Manager oversees all human resources functions for the Vietnam entity, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and alignment with the company's overall HR strategy. This role partners with
business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and execute the Vietnam HR strategy in alignment organisational objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all HR-related matters.
• Lead and mentor the local HR team.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
• Strengthen employer branding and build partnerships with universities, agencies, and job platforms.
• Oversee effective onboarding and integration of new employees.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
• Lead engagement initiatives and employee feedback programs.
4. Compensation & Benefits
• Oversee payroll accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Conduct salary benchmarking, annual reviews, and manage benefits programs.
• Recommend and implement compensation structures aligned with business and market standards.
5. Performance Management & Development
• Manage the performance appraisal process and ensure fair, consistent evaluations.
• Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee training.
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted development programs.
6. Compliance & HR Operations
• Ensure compliance with Vietnam's labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation.
• Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and external partners as necessary.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations.
• Use data to improve HR processes, retention, and workforce planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnam labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience in multinational or regional organizations preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
