- Identify, highlight and remediate information security risk in the Bank
- Comply with the Bank's Information Security Policy, Regulations, Standards, and Process
- Provide feedback to enhance the current policies, regulations, standards and processes where necessary
- Communicate and ensure all staff understands and comply with the Information Security Policy, Regulations, Standards and Processes
- Serve as a Security Operations Center Level 2 Lead and Senior Incident Response technical/functional principal
- Provide technical/functional guidance to investigate suspicious and potentially malicious activity within the network and systems
- Manage the daily activities across a small SOC
- Foster a culture towards process improvement, critical thinking, adaptability, and a positive can do attitude
- Support all aspects of Computer Security Incident Response activities for a large enterprise, including coordination with other government agencies and reporting of incidents
- Conduct analysis of cyber incidents and remediate or recommend remediation as appropriate in accordance with established incident response processes (detection, triage, incident analysis, remediation and reporting)
- Conduct highly technical examinations, analysis and reporting of computer based evidence related to security incidents (intrusion artifacts/IOCs) or investigations, leveraging all cybertools
- Reconstruct events from network, endpoint, and log data
- Support vulnerability and penetration testing
- Ensure the secure handling of digital evidence and matter confidentiality.
- Identify recurring incidents within a customer's environment and determine the need to escalate to the appropriate technical resources, ensuring resolution of more complex issues.
- Recognize potential successful and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.
- Assist with implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls as needed
- Request and analyze on-demand system audits or vulnerability assessments when necessary to determine compliance
- Recommend changes or improvements to the incident management system
- Close incidents and prepare incident reports of analysis methodology and results.
- Be responsible for quality control of incident reports.
- Develop security policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain Incident Response Plan and Testing
- Track, measure and evaluate Incident Response compliance across the enterprise
- Prepare and present weekly presentation status slides
- Participate in external and internal audits and assessments
- Provide the appropriate guidance and advisory in the area of Security Operation Centre
- Be able to contribute to the Bank in terms of documentation, transfer of ideas and implementing the plans in the area of Security Operation Centre
- Bachelor's or Technical Degree Required (IT, Cryptography, computer science, information systems, business administration or other industry-related curriculum)
- Must possess Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification
- Have at least a minimum of 4 years of experience in cyber analysis and incident response experience
- Have a good knowledge international IT security standards (ISO 270001, PCI-DSS,...), ITIL
- Experience in a SOC environment
- Experience with incident response processes (detection, triage, incident analysis, remediation and reporting)
- Have ability to read and understand the professional documents in English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill
- Be able to catch up and manage works quickly and effectively
- Be able to work independently with high pressure, good in teamwork
- Careful, responsible, and secure in protecting information/data belong to Bank
- Good knowledge of risk management principles, methodology and practice

Tiền thân là Ngân hàng Thương mại Cổ phần các Doanh nghiệp Ngoài quốc doanh Việt Nam được thành lập ngày 12/08/1993. Ngày 06/06/2010, Ngân hàng TMCP các Doanh nghiệp ngoài quốc doanh Việt Nam đổi tên thành Ngân hàng Thương mại Cổ phần Việt Nam Thịnh Vượng (VPBank). Năm 2017, mã cổ phiếu VPB của VPBank được niêm yết và giao dịch trên Sàn chứng khoán TP. Hồ Chí Minh.
Trải qua gần 28 năm hình thành và phát triển, ngân hàng VPBank đã hoạt động rất tích cực để khẳng định vị thế của mình trên thị trường. Đồng thời, tổ chức xếp hạng tín nhiệm quốc tế Moody's đánh giá các chỉ số xếp hạng tín nhiệm của VPBank tiếp tục giữ nguyên ở triển vọng ổn định.
