We are seeking an Executive, IT Helpdesk to be our employees' technical assistance needs. The ideal candidate will provide in-depth technical support, manage IT equipment, network systems, software, and handle responsibilities related to system administration.
This role will report to DevOps Leader
Your role & responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical assistance and provide prompt, in-depth support to employees.
Mentor and coach employees on best practices for using approved software and hardware.
Manage, install, and maintain all IT equipment, network devices, and other technological assets.
Handle the configuration and maintenance of network systems, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, camera systems, NAS, and local backup solutions.
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, iPadOS).
Administer software systems such as Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure AD, SharePoint, etc.
Manage server environments, including setup, maintenance, and monitoring.
Assist with DevOps tasks, including deployment automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline management, and monitoring.
Participate in the purchasing, procurement, and rental of hardware and software.
Place service calls to third-party vendors and monitor the progress until resolution.
Issue and revoke necessary software licenses and hardware for employees.
Respond to off-hours support in case of emergencies and work flexible hours as needed.
Collaborate directly with the Technology Department on security-related initiatives, projects, maintenance, and monitoring.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your skills & qualifications
3+ years of experience as an IT Helpdesk engineer or equivalent.
Strong experience with Microsoft Windows, macOS, Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, PC, Laptop, PC/Laptop parts
Hands-on experience with managing IT infrastructure (hardware, software, OS, network, storage, virtual & remote assets, wireless & wired access).
Hands-on administration experience with Windows Server, NAS, firewall, network router, projector, audio, video, conference systems, camera systems...
Understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing and LAN Technology including switching and routing
Ability to conduct research, use, and train others on tools, software, and technical procedures on a wide range of computing issues, as required.
