IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities and Performance Objectives

• Installing PC, preparing IT stuff for newcomers.
• Manage IT inventory (PC in-stock, in-use, IT accessories).
• Manage database records of deployment/return/loan form.
• PC in-stock health check: clean up, format data, reinstall OS (Windows/Mac/Linux).
• PC in-use health check: OS/application update.
• Managing email, anti-spam, and virus protection.
• Technical support for PC (desktop, laptop) and PC peripherals (Monitor, Smartphone, Cable, Printer, Scanner, Projector, etc.).
• Maintaining network system (router, switch, fingerprint, CCTV). Resolve network problems to ensure high availability of IT services to the business operation. Contact a local Internet service provider (ISP) for any network issues.
• Collaborate with the Finance team for audit IT Assets.
• Contact a local IT vendor or user supervisor about IT Assets repair/warranty/purchasing.
• Able to develop and write documents about IT policy.
• Employee training about IT policy.
• Managing IT security incidents.
• Make recommendations for improving controls and practices to reduce risks related to information security.
• Develop educational programs in the area of security awareness.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Position Required Skills and Experience

• College or university, major in computer science, information technology or equivalent.
• Experience in a company with 50 to 300 employees, corresponding to the above duties.
• From 2 to 3 years of experience as an IT helpdesk.
• Good at English (verbal/written).
• Communication / Problem-solving skills and teamwork.
• Customer-Oriented and Cool-tempered.
• Knowledge of ISMS is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in IT hardware / software, Windows 10 / MacOS / Linux, Office 365, networking, printing, CCTV on Client Side.
• Experience working on your own initiative in selecting, implementing, and managing tools and SaaS (Knowledge about Cisco Meraki, Slack, Box is a plus) for internal users.
• Certificate of Microsoft or Cisco is a plus.
