NOW HIRING: SKILLED OPERATIONS TECHNICIANS

These critical roles work closely together to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment and/or lines. Responsibilities include safety and environmental compliance, quality procedures, cleaning and sanitation procedures, effective operation, changeover, autonomous maintenance, intermediate troubleshooting of production equipment, processes and continuous improvement as part of a work team.

Operations Technician duties include (but not limited to):

Operating highly automated manufacturing equipment using basic knowledge of mechanical and/or hydraulic concepts
Initiating start-ups, executing change-overs, and monitoring operation of equipment
Completing minor equipment maintenance
Conducting equipment troubleshooting
Responsible for safety and environmental compliance, quality check procedures, cleaning and sanitation procedures, data collection, housekeeping, problem solving and continuous improvement as part of a work team.

Required Education & Skills - Operations Technician

High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years functional experience in a manufacturing environment or Technical college/vocational school certificate
1+ years of related experience (including mechanical and/or hydraulic)
Proficient with computers, software, and data processing
Demonstrated competency of Attention to Detail, Work Standards, Initiative and Managing Work
Highly collaborative and team oriented
Demonstrated skill in problem solving/decision making, effective communication,and basic troubleshooting
Demonstrated competency in problem solving/decision making, effective communication, results oriented, and job fit motivation
Prefer GMP and/or consumer goods manufacturing experience (not required)
Prefer Associates degree in related field (not required)

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend to 90 degrees repeatedly

Work Schedule

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening shift 7pm - 7:30am and weekends
Rotating Schedule of 2 - 2 - 3 (for a total of only 3 or 4 days per week full-time!)
Must be able to work evening shifts, weekends and mandatory overtime as needed.
