Our software development team for Connected Apps & Integrations is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our growing organization.

The Lead Engineer is a hands-on technology leadership role. As a technology leader, you will advance our accountability for the overall technical alignment, health, capability, and productivity of an engineering team. You drive continuous improvement and customer outcomes.

You would also be part of providing technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.

Your accountability in this role

- Contributing to Oolio's overall technology strategy and aligning systems with that strategy.
- Maintaining platform health, ensuring that our systems are secure, reliable, resilient, and cost-effective.
- Work with product and other stakeholders to ensure delivery is effective, predictable, and sustainable.

Technical skills we are looking for

• 5-7 years experience in Mobile/Web Development Experience.
• Have a passion for Reactjs, JavaScript & Node JS and are excited to advocate for the platform
• Excellent JavaScript/Typescript skills. Applies security and reliability principles when designing systems.
• Understand the principles of Redux/Mobx and make strong architectural recommendations
• Stay abreast of the latest React and JS libraries and can offer well-formed opinions when selecting a tech stack
• Bring your knowledge of design patterns in development (eg SOLID) and platform architecture (Microservices, Event Driven, DDD)
• Experience with test automation at all levels of the test pyramid and beyond, and experience working in a Continuous Deployment model
• GraphQL & AWS Experience a bonus
• Great at scripting, knowledge of linux/unix systems commands, shell scripting / python.
• Strong foundation of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript DOM.
• Agile development, experience with scrum or kanban.
• Creates and maintains continuous delivery pipelines using best practices, patterns & tooling
• Provide timely and effective code reviews where appropriate
• Designs and develops cloud-native software
