Logistics Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Need to have a strategy plan for logistic cost driven activity. Lead the logistic team to manage the import and export shipment to ensure a smooth production and warehouse flow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Detail verify all the import/export/trucking service quotation before decision making.
Lead the logistic team on how to drive down the logistic cost. Manage to anticipate the risk and opportunity of the vendors.
Communicate with the carrier/forwarding to review the quotation from time to time.
Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
Good communication with all oversea vendors.
Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues
Growth the team.
