JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Own development of core technologies powering avatars, image and video creator
Optimize inference stack for both latency and cost efficiency
Staying up to date with latest developments in AI, especially in the areas of AI avatars,
multimodal language models, foundation models in image generation, video generation, and 3d spatial understanding.
Ensuring that our software systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
Tackle ambitious projects with uncertain outcomes and break down large problems into smaller tasks with measurable deliverables
Flex into backend engineering tasks when necessary
Requirements
Experience working with generative AI workflows, especially in the image/video generation space
Comfortable working with open source tools (ComfyUI, stable-diffusion-webui, kohya-ss) and maintain expertise in the latest developments in Diffusion Transformers (DiTs), Flow Matching, and Latent Video Diffusion.
Monitor and implement advancements in the Chinese open-source ecosystem (e.g. Kling, CogVideo, Flux)
Previous background in AI (2+ years) and solid understanding of deep learning and computer vision fundamentals
Interest in ML systems, optimizing performance of complex AI workflows
Passion about building in generative AI, and a desire to deliver immersive AI experiences to the end user
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
