Operations Manager

My Source Global is a sourcing and trading company. We provide exceptional product and factory sourcing, product development, quality control, distribution and manufacturing control across South-East Asia since 2009.
Overview the role:
• Manage a team of resources up to 20 people.
• Identifying and contacting potential customers and suppliers.
• Developing strategies to cope with the changes of business environment; to maintain or enhance business volume with both suppliers and customers
• Visit supplier sites to check the market demand, supply, competitors and business environment of newly developed products.
• Ensure the coherence of business processes across multiple teams.
• Develop strategies and processes to work with challenging customers and suppliers.
• Understand the production technique, product characteristics, quality standards of the company.
• Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts for purchasing and shipping.
• Maintaining strategic relationships and developing strong partnerships.
• Regularly update the market trends, prices, competition, legislation.
• Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies, company code of ethics and procedures guidance.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a cross-functional team.
• Create positive relationship among staffs to ensure good productivity and maintain the highest working morale in company.
• Manage the Kanban board - Stand up daily.
• Select and implement an internal project management and communication system.
• Train the team on how to use implemented project management and communication system
• Take responsibility for the operations in Viet Nam, which may include team management, supplier and customer negotiations, contract negotiations, price negotiations.
• Develop strategies to manage challenging suppliers and customers.
• Coach the team on strategies to work with challenging suppliers and customers.
• Support the Senior Sourcing Specialist for all the quotations, sample products, mass productions and shipments.
• Support Senior Sourcing Specialist to source the factory according to the customer requirements and target prices.
• Responsible for processes update & training of new starters.
• Support to check production speed and status at suppliers.
• Responsible to check overall status of incoming material at suppliers: Production, packaging materials, labels, etc.
• Support and proactively look for improvements to the processes.
• Be carefully, flexible solving problem & ensure not affect to company performance.
• Keep to respect deadline, timeline assigned by Manager.
• Comply with the instructions of the management team.
• Well understand company regulations & policies.
• Friendly cooperation, professional attitude in company.
• Other duties may be assigned by management team.
