Job Description

Renesas Electronics America, Inc. is looking for a Principal Quality & Reliability Engineer

interested in being part of the Quality Assurance team located in Palm Bay Florida supporting our space and commercial products. Renesas Electronics America is a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have significant experience managing multidisciplinary teams to support the successful design, qualification, and high volume manufacturing of space and commercial semiconductor products.

• Direct knowledge of MIL-PRF-38535 and its implementation to support space / radiation hardened products qualification and manufacture. Strong working knowledge of MIL-STD 883 and 750 methods.

• Subject expert in silicon manufacture, assembly, and test processes with in-depth knowledge of associated integration issues.

• History leading teams in the resolution of complex technical problems.

• Support requests for Reliability Report/Data, Qualification Report/Data, FIT Rate, etc

• Support Internal, External (MIL-PRF-38535), and Customer audits

• Perform Customer spec reviews and answer Customer questionnaires

• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with advanced engineering degree. Mentors, trains, and otherwise leverages knowledge and experience to improve the capabilities of his/her local area. Is an acknowledged contributor in the technical community. Possesses and demonstrates significant depth or breadth of knowledge in the semiconductor manufacturing/assembly/test industry. Considered to be an expert in one or more technical fields. Demonstrates an ability to convert sophisticated theoretical concepts into value-added practical results. Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
