The Job
- You will play a hybrid role, acting as the "Voice of the Customer" (Product Owner) while ensuring the team executes efficiently and on time (Project Manager).
1. Product Owner Responsibilities (The "What" & "Why")
- Requirements Management: Collaborate with stakeholders (BOD, customers) to gather high-level functional requirements and translate them into actionable User Stories and detailed Acceptance Criteria.
- Product Prototyping/Wire framing: Design the product's features based on the gathered requirements.
- Data Analytics: Analyze data and read dashboards to extract key insights from customers, product usage, market feedback, etc.
- Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the Product Backlog to ensure the team is always working on the highest-value items.
- Solution Proposal: Analyze business needs to propose suitable technical and functional solutions in coordination with the Tech Lead.
- Product Knowledge: Serve as the primary point of contact for queries regarding product logic and functionality.
2. Project Manager Responsibilities (The "How" & "When")
- Sprint & Task Management: Manage the Sprint Backlog, ensuring tasks are clear, estimated, and assigned. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Review, Retro, Daily Standup).
- Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, timeline adherence, and team velocity. Identify risks/issues early and implement corrective actions to remove blockers.
- Quality Control: Work closely with the QC/QA team to ensure the final delivery meets the "Definition of Done" and maintains high-quality standards before release.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the bridge between the technical team and internal/external stakeholders. Provide regular progress reports and status updates.
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in software product development, preferably in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Project Manager role.
- Product Mindset: Strong ability to analyze requirements, break down features, and prioritize based on business value.
- Prototyping: Must be able to use Figma.
- Agile Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks. Proficiency in managing backlogs and tracking metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) using tools like Jira, ClickUp, or similar.
- Project Control: Consistent on-time delivery mindset. Ability to manage scope, prioritize tasks under pressure, and control the critical path.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency for documentation (User Stories, Specs) and day-to-day collaboration with stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making. Must know how to use query using SQL.
