QC Lead/ Manager

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Australian Insurance company and become part of a passionate and supportive team of leading technical professionals in Vietnam. As a QC Lead/Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the QC team.

Main responsibilities:

- Support a team of 15- 17 QCs (manual & automation)

- Review manual test cases, automated test cases, test plans, and team's reported issues

- Run and support the team run test cases

- Communicate with clients and coordinate with members to resolve the issues

- Ensure the quality of the project

- Coach and mentor team members

- Monitor QC activities, schedule, send reports and escalate QC issues

- Responsible for identifying areas of improvement in the process which will help drive quality of product

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written, creative problem-solving skills, and 'can do' mentality.

• Qualifications Ideally a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT-related field or relevant experience managing teams and systems

• 5-10 years of Quality Assurance, Test Management, and Team Leadership

• 3 - 5 years of Testing experience across, unit/integration test facilitation, functional, performance, End to End, Regression testing applied within agile software development

• Experience working in Agile teams

• Experience working with customers located in geographically different locations

• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential

• Demonstrated ability to independently time manage, and deliver to deadlines

• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience with testing web applications

• Experience with continuous integration and release management tools such as Jenkins

• Experience with Defect management tools like JIRA & Test-rail

• Ability to read and manage communication styles of team members and stakeholders who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines

• Able to proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members
