We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Investment Analyst. The responsibilities of the Investment Analyst include provides research and information to help traders, fund managers, and stockbrokers make decisions about investments to assure the competitiveness of the organization by creating strategies and investment plans, to ensure that the organization remains as a leader within its defined sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios.
Proactively conduct financial market research and regularly update financial developments to the Board and investment committee
Examining and assessing economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
Undertake impact analysis of startups proposal for funding and detailed due diligence
Creating financial models that enhance return on investment of projects and financial planning
Liaise with fund managers and network with industry professionals
Develop and execute the company's investment strategy
Support startup founders with advice and coaching on fundraising, especially on preparing pitch report
Take part in the investment committee and play the key role in investment.
Organize, prepare for and lead meetings with current and prospect fund managers to discuss investment opportunities
Network with fund managers and industry professionals
Participate in various meetings including weekly research and monthly Investment Committee
Create reports for senior management
Write manager research reports for distribution to external clients and internal Investment Committee
Any other duties as may be assigned by Investment Manager.
