REMOTE - Software Test Engineer Python

As a Software Test Engineer, you will test all aspects of what has been developed and only approve for production if your stringent conditions have been met. You will join a growing multi-disciplinary team of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Solutions Experts with deep domain knowledge working to develop new capabilities and workflows to solve real-world client problems.

• Design and automate test plans and test cases, framework
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot test failures
• Work closely with Development, Product Management and Support
• Design test automation strategy for large, complex, cross-functional projects
• Utilizing advanced technical knowledge base to perform testing functions on multiple platforms.
• Defining test process including required test activities, deliverables and test schedule.
• Promotes business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, automation and integration with technology.
• Ensuring employees and vendor partners are meeting all testing standards by conducting reviews of all the test deliverables/artifacts.
• Understanding of how changes impact work upstream and downstream.
• Independently estimating and re-estimating projects while recognizing and communicating dependencies in cross functional testing as well as data to complete estimates.
• Managing the flow of information to internal team as well as leadership.
• Assisting with the on boarding new team members including content development and training.
• Solving complex problems; applying new perspectives to existing solutions.
• Working independently with minimal guidance.

• 2- 7 years Experience working with enterprise software(Agile methodology)
• Python/ Scala/ React
• QA Automation
• Some DB experience (MySQL)
• Expert level system test automation experience.
• Experience working directly with customers on requirements as well as debugging and customization
• Should have System Administration experience
• Previous experience writing automation frameworks
• Understanding of Database Technologies
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly and solve problems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs.
• Demonstrated advanced technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audience.
• Detail oriented, with the ability to work with time constraints and guide others to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of file systems and operating systems
• Knowledge about Jira
