The Rooms Supervisor is responsible for Supervisory duties in the Housekeeping and Front Office departments. For Housekeeping, this includes inspecting guest rooms, overseeing public area cleanliness, counseling and interviewing employees, resolving guest complaints, general office duties, payroll, scheduling etc. For Front Office, this also includes leading the agents who are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires.
The hourly range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00. This is the pay range for this position that The Shay Hotel reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
