BlockBase is an IT laboratory and venture capital company expanding its investment portfolio to the Asia-Pacific region, specifically in Vietnam. We acquired OneBlock Labs, a well-established Vietnamese blockchain lab, with the aim of becoming a comprehensive venture builder. Our vision is to provide investment standards and opportunities for Vietnamese and international investors. Additionally, we have established Herond Labs, a strategic subsidiary focused on blockchain, web3 solutions, and bridging the gap between web2 and web3 technologies. What we're looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our venture capital fund. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with potential investors, and driving capital commitments for our fund. This role requires exceptional sales and communication skills, an understanding of the financial market, and the ability to build strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive sales growth in the financial industry, or equivalent markets.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT and operations teams to align fundraising products with company objectives.
Lead Generation & Sales:
- Oversee the lead generation process, including managing a pipeline of potential clients and following up on leads.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close sales.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Gather feedback from clients and provide input to improve fundraising products.
Team lead:
- Build and lead a dynamic sales team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to achieve collective and individual success.
- Lead the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to track progress against targets.
- Present sales insights and growth opportunities to BOD.

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading and building sales teams, preferably in financial industry, or equivalent markets.
- Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Extensive network within bonds, stocks, real estate, insurance or equivalent markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
- Data-driven approach to sales with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in selling to the fundraising sector is highly preferred.
- Experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Proven experience in leading and building sales teams, preferably in financial industry, or equivalent markets.
- Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Extensive network within bonds, stocks, real estate, insurance or equivalent markets.
