Key Purpose of the Job:

The Senior Product Labelling Specialist is responsible for providing active support and guidance to VF's brands and operational teams, ensuring correctness of product labelling on apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment products that is compliant with all relevant international labelling regulations. This position must have a passion for understanding the complex, global product labelling regulatory landscape, and is capable to review existing labelling processes and procedures. The Sr. Product Labelling Specialist tenaciously seeks opportunities to learn more about VF's supply chain to further improve existing processes and where needed, develop and implement new procedures. You master the skill of finding common ground to get this job done. Further we expect you to actively set-up and manage product labelling audit procedures in cooperation with our quality department.



The successful candidate should possess a good working knowledge on textile and apparel product labelling, being familiar with the regulatory requirements in different regions of the world and have a good understanding about supply chain management.



Key Area of Responsibility:

1. Review, update and develop new product labelling processes and procedures to ensure products have correct product labels compliant with all relevant international labelling regulations.

2. Develop, implement, and manage product labelling audit procedures in cooperation with our quality department.

3. Actively participate in the various product line reviews with a focus on the product labelling compliance, advising on regulatory requirements in the markets where the reviewed products could be possibly sold and commercialized.

4. Maintain the existing internal Product Labelling framework (VF Product Labelling Manual) and engage with a 3rd party provider to replace the current framework ('Compliance & Risks'/ WFSGI Product Labelling Database).

5. Partner with the different Product Stewards across the organization to ensure new product labelling regulations/ legislations are timely and correctly implemented into the existing processes and procedures.

6. Develop and provide extensive training on product labelling, carrying out the labelling expertise across our supply chain towards our different internal stake holders.

7. As a central point of contact, help, guide and assist brand product development, marketing and operational departments with all their primary labelling requirements and concerns.

8. Update supply chain on changes in product labelling regulatory requirements.

9. Provide guidance and assistance to product stewards & operational teams in case of product labelling issues in the market, helping them with "corrective actions" and implement solutions.

10. Develop and own a cadence for monthly and quarterly reporting/ KPI's on product labelling. Tell clear, concise and insightful stories to various internal and external audiences.
