The Job
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer whose primary responsibility is building high-quality, scalable web applications.
AI is a supporting capability, used to enhance features when relevant-not the core focus of the role.
Responsibilities
Web Development (Core -75%)
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale web applications using React, [protected info], and TypeScript.
- Define and maintain frontend architecture (routing, state management, data fetching, component standards).
- Optimize performance, SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior/mid developers.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver reliable features.
AI Integration (Extension -25%)
Integrate AI-powered features at the application level, such as:
- Chat or assistant UI
- Smart search or suggestions
- Auto-summary or form assistance
Work with existing AI APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini).
Design user experiences with AI fallback and error handling.
Manage basic AI concerns: latency, cost, and rate limits.
Your Skills and Experience
Web (Must-have)
- 3+ years of professional experience in Web Development.
- Strong expertise in React and TypeScript; experience with [protected info] is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of browser rendering, HTTP, caching, and state management.
- Hands-on experience with SSR / ISR / CSR strategies.
- Experience with testing, code reviews, and production-grade frontend systems.
AI (Practical level)
- Prior experience integrating AI into a web application (even one or two features is sufficient).
- Ability to work with LLM APIs and handle streaming responses.
- Understanding of AI limitations (hallucinations, latency) and how to handle them in UX.
Nice to Have
- Design systems, monorepos, or micro-frontend experience.
- Basic familiarity with RAG or embeddings.
- Experience building SaaS or fintech products.
What This Role Is NOT
- Not an ML or data science role.
- No model training or AI research required.
- AI supports the web product-not the other way around.
