We are looking for Test Maintenance Equipment Engineer and this position is expected to provide test maintenance engineering support on all test equipment consignments into manufacturing and deliver operational excellence through equipment OEE, cost reductions improvements to achieve our test KPI goals.

The incumbent will work with our Probe/Test Manufacturing Suppliers mainly in Malaysia and across Asia to perform the following key functions:

Responsible for tracking, maintenance and performance of all test equipment consignments to assure optimum operating conditions in order to achieve target machine efficiency, uptime & delivery and KPI goals.
Establish and drive effective preventive maintenance strategies and effectiveness, analyze equipment performance and improvements, continuously reviewing current practices and make recommendations to improve equipment uptime, MUBA/MTBA, minimize equipment jam rate.
Support legacy handler operations and maintenance including handler PM, restoration and improvements including exploring and introducing new handler technologies to ensure smooth production support.
Responsible in equipment spare part management, evaluate spare parts needed and assist in maintaining an adequate inventory for all equipment consignments. Analyze, identify and determine root cause of equipment breakdown, isolate cause and provide quick solutions to minimize impact to production.
Provide technical expertise, drive improvement in maximizing overall equipment effectiveness. Participate in equipment upgrade activities, provide technical input for new equipment and product technology.
Interact and communicate effectively with manufacturing, equipment suppliers, and process engineering in a support role. Able to set goals, define task priorities and respond to changes in a positive manner, providing constructive feedback to appropriate people when necessary
Coordinate, document, and implement changes across affected equipment and sites

Required Skills and Work Experience:

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering
Preferable with > 5 years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing environment preferably in role of test equipment and hardware maintenance
Strong understanding and knowledge of test equipment, process and maintenance process
Experience in ATE test handler and equipments (Multitest, Rasco, SRM, Pick&Place handlers, etc) is an advantage
Good communication and capability to drive/deliver improvement results
Strong data analysis skills and familiar with Statistical Tools (JMP/ DataPower)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels
Conducts with utmost honesty and integrity
Self-directed with strong desire to be part of a winning team
Knowledge of PAT, SBL, SPC, DOE, FMEA and Six Sigma, etc. is an added advantage
Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
