Technical Architect

Roles:

Senior Application Consultant is responsible for designing, finding, implementing and maintaining software within agreed standards across front end applications and back end applications integration.

Senior Application Consultant will work closely with the Head of Application Delivery and the rest of the team to build the Bancassurance Platform and other applications for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Code and Technical Design Reviews, Deployments and refactoring of application state to ensure scaling and performance. And work closely with the Digital Technology head to meet the expectations on the implementations.
• Ensure that work plan is properly assigned, major timelines are cascaded with the Digital Technology team and the correct documentation is in place and communicated regularly.
• Carry out the day-to-day tasks such as stand-up calls, meetings, deployments and relevant important activities.
• Analysis on the Digital Technology Platform, In-house System and Technology experts to review source code deliveries from vendors and control deployment operations
• Ensure corrective and preventive maintenance and small service requests are delivered and are prioritised
• Ensure that service, operational and support requirements are taken into consideration and solutions are ready to be transitioned to the live
• Responsible for ensuring that sufficient testing of solutions has taken place to minimise any disruption during transition to live
• Ensure that the right levels of communication are provided, relationships around the business are developed and nurtured and the expectations of key stakeholders are managed.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or information technology with at least 7 years of relevant experience in Application Support with Server Side Development frameworks and CI/CD experience as following-

1. Micro-services: Java Springboot, Django Rest, NodeJS.
2. CI/CD: Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Github actions, Nginx Ingress
3. Cloud Tech: AWS, AZURE

• Have knowledge of emerging container management platforms like Kubernetes and Docker
• Knowledge of programming communication between mobile and server via TCP / IP, Firebase, Websocket, WebService and JSON / XML protocols
• Experience in Agile development.
• Knowledgeable in DevOps - a highly sought-after methodology designed to bridge the gap between developers and operations staff - to produce better apps more quickly
