Position overview

Reponsible to manage all technical aspects of product and manufacturing engineering from design step to mass production operation.
Establish excellent relationships with all functions and external parties involved in the product and equipment design, development, launch and manufacture.
Responsible for building up manufacturing process, process control plan and production engineering management system
Manage activities new model launching project: Design checking, production control Plan, setting machine, work instruction, production control standard for processes, implement pilot, DVP run, collect data, analysis and report
Foster a continuous improvement approach, develop and provide leadership to a high - performance team while enhancing organisational capability

Position responsibilities

Co-work with Battery Cell Institute to receive new Cell Design and checking Design for Production (PFMEA)
Manage activities new model launching project: Design checking, production control Plan, setting machine, work instruction, production control standard for processes, implement pilot, DVP run, collect data, analysis and report.
Manage and control processes to reduce defect rate, analysis and improvement all technical issue on processes in Mass production.
Organize improvement activities in Mass production, co-work with other department to solve issue (QA, QC, LOG, Planning)
Responsible for building up manufacturing process, process control plan and production engineering management system
Build and organize training to all engineering to level up technical skill.
Build and organize evaluating for PFMEA and DFMEA each new model launching.
Evaluating equipment, machine for battery pack manufacturing line: Pre-acceptance, Gage R&R to guarantee machine's operation quality before start production.
Co-work with IT to take solution for improving IMS system
Lead safety initiatives while ensuring safe work practises and compliance to all local regulatory guidelines are met.
Manage operation efficiency of equipment, consumable, spare part
Ensure that all programs meet the three measures of a successful vehicle launch: on time, excellent quality and meeting and/or exceeding program financial targets.
Select, develop and train technical and maintenance team members to ensure technical competency is maintained.
Effectively train, coach and support team members in problem solving and resolution activities.
Establish people development as a core value to develop future leaders and grow organisational capability.
Empower and support teams to improve their work environment through the understanding of lean manufacturing systems and the elimination of constraints.
Support strategies to increase production at minimum cost and reduce structural cost activities.

Yêu cầu

6+ years' experience in similar or higher position in the battery cell manufacturing industry.
Solid knowledge about Cell battery technologies especially lithium ion, all process: Electrode making, Cell Assembly, Formation.
Good knowledge for standards, specification for Cell Battery, data analysis, solving issue for Mass production.
Understanding deeply for operation principle of Battery Pack Manufacturing Line Equipment.
Demonstrated successful leadership of technical personnel including a team of Engineers.
Good common-sense business insight and experience with the development and implementation of business strategies.
Experience in predictive maintenance and asset management.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information.
Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships.
Fluent in English (both verbal & written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Education: Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering.
