Wood Traceability Assistant Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:
• Ensure an effective Chain of Custody (CoC) Compliance System at ScanCom Group in line
with FSC Standard, EUTR law, EUDR, Australian law, LACEY ACT, FLEGT, IWAY Forestry
Standards, Clients' wood origin requirements and SCVN's CoC requirements and be well
aware by CoC team, employees, management and suppliers in the supply chain.
• Regularly review the wood traceability system with updated standards, procedures and
WI from applicable laws, standards and clients' requirements. Deploy, implement,
monitor and improve or simplify the wood traceability system at SCVN.
• Manage and maintain up-to-date the wood traceability document system with the
required wood traceability documents, standards, laws and necessary records in hard
and soft copy at the designated drives and provide required wood traceability documents
to the customers and the certify bodies by their requested timeline.
• Study and maintain a legal and regulatory wood traceability document with all the up-to-
date requirements from local and international laws or standards, FSC standards and
conduct a compliance assessment over the requirements.
• Regularly reviewing the wood traceability documentation system and updated/simplified
standards, procedures, WIs and forms as necessary as needed for the system
implementation.
• Maintain a documentation system with documents/records/materials in both hard and
soft copy at designated drives and intranet.
• Reviewing the risk of the current system, and provide a workable solution to all the
demands/concerns for the system or the structure and mechanism.
• Responsible for customers' requirements on wood traceability declaration at online
systems.
• Use digitalization opportunities to automate wood traceability administration as much as
possible.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Internal:
Relevant departments in implementing, improving and maintaining the wood traceability
compliance system.
2. External:
Be cooperative with the people from relevant local authorities and stakeholders (forest &
agriculture division, FSC certify bodies, customers, customers' authorized organizations
on the assessments, audits and the recommendations for improving and maintaining the
wood traceability compliance system.
