Overview the role:
We are currently seeking an accountant/bookkeeper with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience to join our team. The responsibilities for this position will include handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end reconciliation, and other accounting related functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with invoicing customers and following up on late accounts receivable. Additionally, a strong understanding of the basics of general ledger accounting is required as there may be a need to perform various accounting tasks. It is essential for the candidate to be able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accounts with exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities:
• Customer Invoicing: Preparation of commercial invoices, compiling information required for Open Account invoicing, preparing and submitting invoice packages to various Open Account banks.
• Entry of customer invoices into accounting system.
• Accounts receivable disputes: Non-payment & short payment disputes for various customers.
• Account reconciliation including credit cards, cash, and accounts receivable.
• Accounts payable and credit card expense allocation Track containers once on the water.
• Comply with the instructions of the manager, Director and Chief Representative of the company.
• Well understand company regulations & policies
