Australian Income Tax Return Preparer

Typical duties
- Review information from the Australian Tax Office portal and provided by clients to prepare tax returns;
- Reviews financial information provided by clients directly through documents or by accessing accounting software (such as Xero);
- Communicates with clients through email to clarify and obtain information from clients for the purpose of preparing complete, accurate tax returns;
- Prepares returns for electronic transmission, verifying that each return is free from errors and in transmittable form;
- Provides tax information and answers client's tax questions by email;
- Review returns per Manager's instructions;
- If a return is determined to have been completed incorrectly, corrects all errors and informs client of changes, in accordance with the Manager's Plan;
- Maintains current tax knowledge as specified by Tax Store Brunswick;
- Performs other accounting and bookkeeping duties as required; and
- Assists with and performs administrative duties when necessary.
Performances bonuses will be evaluated based on the tax preparers ability to perform independently to fully manage tasks and the client account.
Relationships and reporting structure.
All Accountant report to the Partner of the firm and is expected to coordinate, collaborate and have highly effective relationship with other Tax Store Brunswick staffs including the Client Manager and Practice Manager who are based in Australia and Vietnam.
