Job Description
Location:HANOI, Vietnam
The role is to be lead/ be involved in various aspects of developing and growing the business, includingfinancial modelling, strategic client acquisitions for PPA, JVs, raising capital, debtfinancing, acquisitions.TheBusiness DevelopmentManageris expected to deliver the following:
Responsibilities:
•Sales and marketing: Lead generation, processing (technical and financial proposal) and closure.PPA/contracts negotiations. Develop and implement marketing strategy in co-ordination with HQ'sMARCOMteam.Perform financial modellings/ projections to for different purposes: capital raising,project assessments, company strategy.Work closely with banks to ensure smooth project financingfor the projects.Interacting with multiple internal personnel in various teams to consolidate data.Review commercial aspects of financing, investment and partnership definitive agreements
•Acquisition of Projects:Handling acquisition projects: including evaluating the projects,proposingdeal terms/ structures/ preparing term-sheets/ reviewing acquisition agreements and tracking closingprocess.
•Develop strategic partnership:Client acquisitions,Developing channel partners and EPC partners,train them and maintain healthy business relationships to generate regular business for the firm.
•Country updates: understand, analyse and report data on Economy, Business environment, Industrialsector, Power sector at large, Solar sector (installations, regulatory framework, financial incentives,competition).
•Post-sales support & client management: Assist Projects team in finalizing the EPC/I&C and O&M.Assist all the related teams for execution of the project. Regular follow-up with clients for timelypayment collection and ensure that payments are released as per payment terms.
•MIS
•Any other tasks that would be required to fulfill the position
Job Requirements
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree inEngineering plus MBA would be preferredfrom anaccredited college oruniversity.
•Minimum of5yearsexperienceof which 2+ years should be inInvestments/InvestmentBanking/BusinessDevelopment/ Consultingwith relevantSolarIndustry experience of atleast 1 year.
•Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, build rapport, andconnect with people at all levelsof the organization.
•Ability to instill trust and confidence in those you are speaking to and persuasively pitch conceptsaswell aspromote company values to both internal and external customers.
•Strong understanding of theSolar industry's regulatory environment
•Experience in dealing with various legal contracts
•Experience in dealing with banks, contractors and advisors.
•Strong financial modelling and investments experience.Excellent research and analytical skills
•Strong expertise in MS office.Well versed with excel sheets and Power Point presentations.
•Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
