*Position Summary:
Responsible for all the pre-production activities needed to manufacture the defined size range consistent with the approved
Confirmation sample
Works collaboratively with the factory to implement and meet scheduled timelines to be ready for order download
*Responsibilities:
• Execute all pre-production and production trials needed to manufacture the defined size range consistent with the approved confirmation sample.
• Works collaboratively with the factory development and technical team to implement and meet defined timelines to be ready for order download.
• Executes thorough review and evaluation to cover areas of fitting with the last, upper, outsole and packaging with reference to the approved measurement, pattern, gauges and packaging.
• Communicate with the US development team concerns for all the tech stages which will impact manufacturability and quality of the product. Present alternative solutions without changing or slightly changing the design.
• Execute the implementation of a new process which enhances product integrity.
• Works collaboratively with the factory technical team to create detailed specification, testing process and SOP's which will meet Reef manufacturing standard and quality requirements.
• Executes the timely endorsement of product specification, SOP's and tech reports to production and quality control.
• Conducts the timely activity for the production trial run. Initiates and coordinates the meeting of the tech, production and quality control teams to discuss the result.
• Coordinate to get all the requirements needed to receive tech transfers for line items being dually sourced. Ensure that all requirements which the factory needs are complete before handover.
• Coordinate to provide all requirements needed to transfer line items which are dually sourced to another factory. Ensure all the requirements for the tech transfer are complete before sending.
• Maintains digital files of approved lasts, patterns and outsole. Maintains documents of specification, process, SOP's and Tech reports for reference.
• Establish and maintain synergy with factory tech team to facilitate problem solving and effective execution.
• Be of good standing to represent the company when working with factory management and suppliers. Do not take actions which will damage the reputation of the Reef Brand.
