Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the strategic strengths and weaknesses of social media and influencer marketing channels.
• Create detailed customer journey maps that align with client objectives throughout the marketing funnel.
• Utilize performance metrics to maximize campaign planning opportunities at each stage of the funnel.
• Translate strategic insights into clear operational briefs for the social media and influencer marketing teams, including budget allocation decisions by general channel and funnel level.
• Present, defend, and sell overarching social media and influencer strategies to clients, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
• Collaborate with account heads and creative leaders to identify specific messaging needs and opportunities at various stages of the funnel, providing guidance on the "where" and "how" elements of social media and influencer campaigns.
• Serve as a liaison between account and creative teams during campaign execution.
• Assess campaign data reporting and make recommendations for cross-channel adjustments to improve performance.
• Provide overall performance summary reporting and insights to clients, using the information to inform future communication strategies.
• Review all KPI documents before client review to ensure goals and measurements are clear and aligned with the strategy.
• Educate the agency about the importance and role of the Communications Planner in social media and influencer marketing.
Qualifications:
• Strong working knowledge of the strategic strengths and weaknesses of social media and influencer marketing channels.
• Expertise in developing detailed customer journey maps.
• Ability to align customer journey maps with client objectives throughout the marketing funnel.
• Understanding of performance metrics and their application in campaign planning for social media and influencer marketing.
• Ability to translate strategic insights into operational briefs for social media and influencer marketing planning.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and defend social media and influencer strategies to clients.
• Collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with account and creative teams to enhance campaign messaging.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess data and make strategic recommendations.
• Experience in performance summary reporting and using insights to inform future strategies.
• Commitment to educating and integrating the role of the Communications Planner within the agency.
