A. EDITORIAL DESIGN
• You are able to adapt, maintain and improve our current design process, especially in Editorial Design.
• You love everything about Editorial Design. You are an expert in executing layout design, typography design, graphic elements and brand design applications.
Expert-level proficiency in Indesign: Demonstrated mastery of Indesign software for efficient and high-quality layout and design execution.
Customized Type Design: Possess a strong understanding of typography and the ability to create custom typefaces or modify existing fonts to enhance design aesthetics and brand identity.
Infographic Design: Create compelling and informative infographics to visualize complex data and concepts, aligning with the publication's visual style.
Final Artwork Supervision: Oversee the production of final artwork, ensuring adherence to print specifications and quality standards. Collaborate closely with production teams including our Print Supervisor to ensure seamless transition from design to print.
Art Direction Interest: Possess a strong ability to conceptualize and articulate a clear design vision for editorial products. Effectively communicate creative concepts with other designers, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with the overall aesthetic.
B. CROSS-DISCIPLINARY DESIGN COLLABORATION
You are able to balance Editorial workload with requirements from the Commercial, Marketing and Research team. You are expected to consider the needs and concerns of the Design team with those of other departments in order to establish understanding of design processes and to manage outcome expectation across different teams.
You understand deeply Design Thinking for both print and digital designs
You are able to own the job with your own principles
You are able to conduct researches with strong analysis and observation
