1. Inspection and Testing:
o Conducting inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).

2. Documentation and Reporting:
o Reviewing and approving electrical method statement, ITP, checklist and test reports prepared by contractors or subcontractors.
o Maintaining accurate records of inspection findings, test results, and non-conformances identified during inspections.
3. Coordination and Communication:
o Collaborating with other QA/QC inspectors (mechanical, civil, instrumentation) to ensure integrated inspections and alignment with overall project requirements.
o Communicating inspection results to project management, engineering teams, and contractors, and facilitating resolution of any identified issues.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
o Ensuring adherence to project quality plans, procedures, and specifications throughout the mechanical completion and commissioning phases.
o Verifying that electrical installations and systems meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
5. Punch Listing and Follow-Up:
o Participating in punch listing activities to identify and document outstanding items or deficiencies related to electrical work.
o Monitoring and verifying completion of punch list items by contractors and ensuring closure of identified issues.
6. Commissioning Support:
o Providing technical support during the commissioning of electrical systems, including troubleshooting, startup assistance, and operational testing.
o Conducting final inspections and checks to confirm that electrical systems are fully operational and meet performance criteria.
7. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
o Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and promoting safe work practices during all inspection and testing activities.
o Reporting any safety hazards or incidents encountered during inspections to relevant stakeholders.

1. Inspection and Quality Control:

o Ensuring that installation methods and materials meet approved project specifications and standards.

o Developing and implementing testing protocols for electrical systems, including:

o Performance testing of electrical equipment
o Witnessing and documenting tests performed by contractors or subcontractors.
3. Documentation Management:
o Maintaining comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and results, including:

o Reviewing and approving documentation submitted by contractors, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

o Assisting in the troubleshooting of electrical issues during commissioning.

8. Regulatory Compliance:
o Ensuring that all electrical installations comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
