Qualification (Educational): Graduate / Post Graduate Engineering in Computer Science from premier engineering institutes of global ranking.
Location Country: India
Years of Experience: 10+
Skill Sets Required:
- 10+ years of experience in the software industry with 3+ years in Engineering Management leading agile teams on design, development, and delivery of highly scalable products, experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or python, design patterns and algorithms.
- Prior experience with engineering large high-volume services, with service-oriented development and cloud-based systems.
- Prior experience specifically as Engineering manager with responsibility for the whole engineering lifecycle for a major cloud service preferred.
- Technical abilities, rapid problem solving, design, rapid prototyping and debugging skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate a vision and get people invested in success.
- Exposure to the process and nuances of operationalizing and supporting products and services used by thousands of customers simultaneously.
- Ability to create, drive and evangelize cross-team processes and achieve org-wide impact.
- 2+ years' Experience working with data analytics, data pipelines and cloud computing services, such as Azure.
- 2+ years' Experience with data driven development of user facing web interfaces, integrating data analytics, design patterns and algorithms.
- 4+ years people management experience and leading projects across multiple product releases.

As a key leader, you'll guide the technical direction and maintain high standards for our team's success. You'll also mentor junior engineers, helping them achieve both company goals and personal career growth. The perfect fit will have a strong background in engineering and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide software teams to make sure they create top-notch solutions that customers love.
- Take charge of how we develop software, including the design and standards, and make important decisions.
- Turn our product ideas into practical plans for the engineering team and make sure projects stay on track with our goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate with senior management, cross functional teams and stakeholders to understand product requirements and prioritize tasks for innovative product development.
- Make plans and create solutions by fully understanding what's needed, connecting with the stakeholders involved, and finding the best answers to tricky problems.
- Lead and encourage the use of best practices, ways of doing things, and tools to make work easier, better, and efficient at every stage of the project.
- Oversee product governance, which includes managing both development and support functions, to ensure smooth and effective management.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to consistently enhance our development methods.
- Keep executives, management, and stakeholders informed about project status and technical plans in a clear and professional manner.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders to collect feedback, validate requirements, and spearhead product enhancements.
