Finance Controller Leader In Creative SectorPage Group Vietnam

Working closely with the Company's Leadership Team in executing the company strategic directions, this role will require a culture of collaboration and stakeholder management skills to pilot independently through the organization, functions and teams to transform and uplift the accounting and finance function to support the business and operations.
Description
This successful Finance Controller must be a Senior Leader who is collaborates with the Managing Director and stakeholders to drive strategic decisions. Responsibilities include deep dive business performance analysis, KPI management, and fostering collaboration across the organization to elevate the finance function and support business growth.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
* Lead financial and operational analysis to develop and execute strategic plans and drive monthly forecasting cycles/annual budgeting.
* Provide ongoing analytics on commercial and financial KPIs, transforming data, and articulating insights to support management decision-making.
* Provide reporting and analytical support for commercial, and marketing functions to achieve business objectives.
* Drive the deal evaluation function to assess key financial aspects of investments, identify risks and issues, and implications of the deals.
Finance Controlling:
* Oversee the full controllership function including financial reporting, accounting policy and compliance, risk management, and statutory filing.
* Manage the regular closing process on monthly reporting and balance sheet review.
* Lead cash flow management and liaise with group treasury and regional finance teams on cash requirements and solutions.
* Lead tax filing and planning, ensuring group compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
* Develop cost efficiency strategies and design processes and procedures to improve internal controls, including streamlining financial reporting processes and identifying system and operational improvements.
Business Partnering:
* Support the Managing Director in formulating and executing growth strategies and plans.
* Identify and bridge the gaps to meet annual plan and targets by proposing ideas and recommendations as a finance leader.
* Drive discussions to effectively communicate business performance and commercial analysis with cross-functional business owners, senior management, and the regional office.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, and CPA qualification or equivalent.
* 8-10 years' experience in financial and commercial roles, preferably in MNC companies with a focus on fast-paced, high-growth, and innovative cultures.
* Strategic, critical, and innovative thinker with strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, adaptability and capable of making effective decisions.
* Excellent communication and project management skills, adept at working collaboratively and effectively navigating change, ensuring buy-in from key stakeholders.
* Fluency in English and Vietnamese required for effective communication with local and regional teams.
