Key Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for maintaining the general ledger of inventories, fixed assets and other general accounting areas by recording daily financial transactions and maintaining financial records and reconciliation.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Inventory Management
- Execute inventory management procedures.
- Manage inventory master data including inventory types, items, and price in ERP system.
- Track purchase order relating to inventories, manage input and output inventory transactions, prepare monthly inventory input and output reports.
- Prepare inventory accounting entries in the ERP system and perform monthly reconciliation.
- Yearly conduct physical inventory count, perform reconciliation and investigate variance.
Fixed Asset Management
- Execute fixed assets management procedures.
- Create fixed assets and conduct changes relating to fixed assets in ERP system.
- Prepare fixed asset accounting entries, including fixed asset acquisition, depreciation and amortization, fixed assets transferring, fixed asset disposals in ERP system.
- Perform monthly fixed asset reconciliation with fixed asset register and depreciation schedule.
- Yearly conduct physical fixed asset count, perform reconciliation and investigate variance.
General Accounting
- Prepare accounting entries and conduct accounting procedures relating to other general accounting such as prepayments, accrued expenses, loans and accrued interest, ect.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation for assigned accounts.
- Prepare accounting reports assigned by GA Supervisor
Required Competencies:
- Fresh graduated or maximum 2 year experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- Extremely organized and attentive to details, strong with numbers;
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices;
- Excellent verbal and written skills;
- Fluent in English;
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products;
- Willing to learn and work under pressure.
