General Description:
ROLE
Support the evaluation of exploration plays, prospects, and leads by the integration of geological data and drilling results.
OBJECTIVES
1. Provide Geological support to the exploration team in gathering and evaluating available geological information and well data, 3D Geological Model.
2. Provide Geological support for the formulation of well proposals and help in the gathering of pertinent geological information.
3. Support the senior geologist in the production and maintenance of an up to date well location database.
4. Liase with PetroVietnam for exploration matters when required.
5. Assist in well site duties with active interest in drilling procedures and safety regulations.
6. Assist in the preparation of well summaries by evaluating and documenting well results.
7. Assist with the input of geophysical/Geologist data into the G&G workstation system.
8. Built static model for TL-DD field and transfer all data to dynamic model.
9. HSE Responsibilities:
• Support implementation of departmental HSE plan so as to achieve highest HSE performance.
• Communicate, interpret and champion the execution of the objectives and provisions of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and Codes of Conduct and Discipline (COCD) within the working team and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention programmes to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony.
