Job Overview:
The Production Planner is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production process, which includes developing detailed production plans and material requirements, effectively allocating resources, and monitoring production activities to achieve optimal efficiency and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Receive sales forecasts, orders, and delivery plans from Stores, the Domestic Sales, and the International Sales Department.
Receive maintenance and repair plans from the Maintenance Department, as well as material inventory and warehouse plans from the Warehouse Manager.
Receive testing plans from the R&D Department, and new product/ machinery projects from the Project team.
Follow up and update information on equipment, workers, production capacity, and waste at each production stage.
Develop detailed production plans for daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, and prepare material requirements for monthly and yearly needs.
Allocate materials and implement production according to the established plan, closely monitoring execution and adjusting plans as needed.
Operate and manage the production ERP system:
+ Plan on the ERP system.
+ Monitor production batch status and material allocation.
+ Control semi-finished and finished products during production.
Prepare production reports on output, waste by batch, weekly, monthly, and material inventory status.
Report on the order fulfillment rate.
Strictly follow the factory's regulations on working hours, workplace safety, and fire prevention.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management or related majors.
1-2 years of experience in the same position
Fluent in English (both spoken & written)
Proficiency in MS Office tools (word, excel, PowerPoint,...)
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety
Careful, honest, and enthusiastic at work
Result-driven mind-set
Ability to work under pressure.
